Why donвЂ™t you use вЂFвЂ™ marked front sight bases I recently found this excellent video online that explains the original reason for the F marked front sight base, and how it really doesnвЂ™t make a great deal of difference whether the front sight base is the taller F marked or not. My package was missing all the taper pins, but no matter, I plan on drilling with 21 drillbit and using 10-32 set screws. I have not installed any yet, only test fitting on the barrels and they look like quality.

For anyone considering the purchase of this barrel for a retro style build, keep this in mind the gas block portion of this barrel is. 16' 5.56 Mid-Length HBAR Barrel, Modern Series. I bought 4 of these F marked FSB for the price of one lo-pro plus one flipup. This is my FOURTH Del-Ton barrel, and is no less the quality the other three are. I ordered this barrel for a clone M16A1 build I'm gathering parts for. And the price blows everybody else out of the water! F MARKED FSB INSTALL

Just came in today and I couldn't wait to install it on my M16A1 clone build. Using a new non-DTI bolt the headspace was perfect using a no-go 1.4666. The barrel is perfect, very nice fit and finish. I ordered the chrome-lined lightweight 20' with free UPS ground and it arrived next day.
